The Quality Assurance unit plans and strategize to ensure that the company sustains its strong advantage of delivering high-quality products and services. It is also responsible for ensuring that the company’s activities conform to regulatory requirements and the company’s quality system which help to produce safe, efficacious and quality medicines. The unit also works to improve the company’s efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.
Quality Control
Quality Control unit monitors standards in manufactured products by testing a sample of the output against the specifications. The unit is concerned with sampling, inspecting, testing, monitory, and releasing/rejecting of products. It also carries out environmental monitoring analytical method validation, failure investigating for all deviations, compliant investigations, stability testing, and review of production documentation.

At the same time, there are quality checks during production which are controls to make sure acceptable standards are met for critical parameters. These controls include weight uniformity, friability, disintegration, leaker tests, pH, and viscosity. Also at the end of each stage of production samples of the intermediate products are taken by the Quality Control department and analyzed to ensure that they meet our product and cGMP, FDA, and the company’s specifications. At the end of the packing, the finished products are checked before release unto the market.
